We have designed a two-day course to quickly and cost efficiently help employers to fulfil their legal duty
to train their staff in fire safety, Health & safety, First Aid and Mental Health in the workplace all in one course.
The courses learning outcomes are based on the recommendations of:
This half day develops Learners’ basic fire safety awareness. It includes what to do in the event of an emergency, the principles of fire risk control and the basics of practical fire safety.
The objective of the course is to benefit Learners through developing their fire safety awareness in the workplace to make sure that they are keeping themselves and others they work with safe at all times.
Health & Safety
The objective of this half day qualification is to benefit Learners by providing a basic introduction to health and safety in the workplace to make sure they are keeping themselves and others they work with safe at all times.
The objective of the qualification is to benefit Learners by enabling them to attain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of first aid situations in a low risk business.
Mental Health in the Workplace
To enable delegates to identify and assist employees who may be suffering with poor mental health, (to include stress, depression and anxiety) initiate a change in stigma and culture, work within the legal guidelines to assist and share information on mental health and wellbeing to aid prevention.
All four courses can be delivered across two consecutive days, or we can split this across a day a week for two weeks to help employers manage their staffing arrangements.
We can deliver the courses at your own business premises or the Surrey Fire and Rescue campus in Surrey.
