Hendeca Group: Clean and Green Fire Safety Training

South-East fire safety training company, Hendeca Group are committed to support the adoption of policies and measures that will help national and local governments reduce black carbon emissions from live fires which threatens local communities and in response have made the switch to automated gas simulators for all their practical fire safety training.

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 mandates that fire extinguishers are required in all buildings and Hendeca Group believe that staff should be confident and competent to use one, running courses to deliver hands-on practice using a simulator gas rig.

With many of their clients seeking eco-friendly credentials in every area of their business,  fire safety is no different. Of course, a real live bin or chip fire may have looked aesthetically exciting and had the ‘wow’ factor however with numerous fire safety practical sessions being carried out each week, the environmental impact was too great for the Dorking based company.

Promoting greener fire safety training, Lynne Hobbs, Managing Director, Hendeca Group said:

Our mission is to keep people and property safe in our communities. Hendeca Group are dedicated to deliver professional and expert fire safety training. By using the gas rig, delegates feel the heat of a real flame as smoke is filtered to give a ‘clean burn’. This prevents smoke and gases from entering the atmosphere and reduces CO2 emissions, reducing our carbon footprint whilst protecting our environment.  Real live chip pan demonstrations have had their time, we all have a responsibility to our planet.

Did you know you can be fined if you light a fire and allow the smoke to drift across the road, becoming a danger to traffic and with the recent heat wave we have been experiencing, it is everyone’s responsibility to stop the risk of wildfires.
