Fire Risk Management in Construction Trainer

Do you want to make a difference to construction workers? 

Would you like to pass on your experience, knowledge and practical skills to help others stay safe on site?

Remote role with travel to various classrooms around the South-East of England area.

You will need to be:

- Forward-thinking, diligent and enthusiastic trainer.

- Responsible for the delivery of (mostly) on site and (some) off-site Fire Risk Management in Construction courses and other fire safety training. 

- Strong facilitation management skills and proficient IT skills. 

- Operating in line with Hendeca Group values and behaviours, implementing our policies and standards. 

Qualifications / Knowledge:

- AET or equivalent training qualification

- Construction site knowledge

- H&S qualification

Amongst other areas, you will be responsible for delivering courses with: 

- CITB related courses 

- IFSM related courses

- FPA  related courses

and other accreditations.

A minimum of three years occupational experience in construction or construction health & safety related management role, that you can evidence. Own transport is essential.

Fire Awareness for Construction is a course specifically aimed at educating those in the construction sector about the risks posed by fire to health and safety. This training course is an essential guide, covering fire prevention, HSG168, joint code of practice and recognition of fire signs and emergency procedures and safe evacuation from site.

Qualified First Aid Instructors / Event First Aid Responders

First Aid Instructors

We are looking for First Aid instructors within the Surrey, Sussex and Kent areas. Expanding our talented team of trainers due to positive demand of our professional services.

Do you want to play a pivotal role to deliver and assess our First Aid training joining a well-organised, adaptable and passionate team of industry experts?

 Do you have:

- A Level 3 Teaching qualification

- Qualsafe First Aid at Work qualification

- Completed a 12 Hour Paediatric First Aid course.

Remote role with travel to various classrooms around the South-East of England area.

Business Development Manager 

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Business Development Manager to grow our client base and develop our services working across the Southern region and potentially countrywide.

Key Responsibilities:

- Generate increased sales of current services

- Identify new business opportunities, including training in Fire Safety, First Aid and Health and Safety

- Create an online training platform

- Identify solutions for compelling additional services

- Develop a network of contracts to attract clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects

- Generate leads via sales development driving business growth

- Building strong relationships with new clients

- Meet and exceed agreed key performance indicators & targets

- Make sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income

- Provide management with reports and feedback

 Do you have:

- A proven history of successful sales

- Experience in a Sales role within the training arena is desirable

- Excellent communication negotiation and influencing skills

- Highly focused, initiative-taking and driven

- Experienced and keen to operate effectively in a small to medium business environment

- Strong business acumen

- Excellent organisation, written, numerical and time management skills

- Ability to work in a high-pressured environment and react to rapidly changing circumstances

- Self-motivated and a team player, demonstrating professionalism, positivity and pro-activeness

Hours - 36 hours per week with some flexibility. Competitive salary + bonus package.
